Easter

Happy Easter! Paige began celebrating early this week when she gave mommy a "chocolate filled" surprise! Not that we are complaining. It had been NINE days since her last dirty diaper. I've decided not to post that photo, but it does exist. Mommy like to send those ones to uncle Ben, he he. The Easter bunny came to our house and left some great treats. Paige got a wind up bunny that hops off of the coffee table. Mommy and Daddy got some new furniture for the family room but the Easter bunny charged it to our American Express card. After Paige got into Easter outfit #1 (green corduroy dress with pink calico onesie, cream tights and white shoes) we headed out to church. That went pretty well for a while but Daddy ended up all by himself since Paige doesn't know when and when not to use her chatter box. After church we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Blake's. The Easter bunny left some treats for Paige there too! She got a basket filled with those great plastic, chunky, linking bead things, a dollar, a seed for her to plant, AND a cool new swing! After some fussing and a wardrobe change into Easter outfit #2 (white jammies with Easter eggs on the front and an actual cotton tail on the back) Paige had a little nap. After a little more playing and an Easter egg hunt (see photo of Paige & mommy) it was time to go home. Me and Papa are really enjoying all of these "firsts" for our precious baby.
