I hate this

The first thing Mike said to me this morning was "I hate this." Paige's food pump alarm sounded three times last night. The bag was empty 30 minutes faster than expected. She rolled over on the the tubes and a "no flow" alarm sounded. At 5:30 am another "no flow" alarm and I just turned the damn thing off.

The tape across her nose also came lose again. We woke up to her bawling and the tube pushing out again. I had to hold her arms and head while Mike replaced the tape. Starting tomorrow I'll be the only one home when she wakes up. I might need to wrap her arms down in a blanket, hold her head with one hand and replace tape with another. I used to just read her books in the morning so...this sucks. Mike threw away the extender tube on accident and I had to dig it out of the trash, there was a bug on her supplies (syringes, plastic cups etc) this morning, my stupid Netflix copy of Sweeny Todd stopped at scene 13 last night, we're out of toilet paper....its way too easy to ruffle my feathers these days. :)

On a more positive note. She was 19 lbs even on the scale this morning and ate a bowl of cheerios and 1/2 a banana to boot! We are all staying in our PJ's and having a super low key day. Okay, Mike will leave to buy toilet paper, but THEN we'll relax. We are all taking long naps, we're not adjusting the feeding tube, we're going to eat all the fruit snacks...we're REALLY looking forward to it!
