Paigey's great-grandpa, Richard Bakken, passed away this afternoon. It wasn't (as much as these things can be) unexpected and many of us were able to see him and say goodbye before he died. My Mom and Grandma were with him. I went out to the nursing home today with Paige and she spent most of her time petting the dog and looking at the birds in the bird cage. She was, however, extra generous with her hugs and kisses for everyone...I was glad for that.
