Another Christmas Tradition

No one in my house ever really appreciated my Christmas village until this year. Mom started buying us a "house" each year starting when we got married. Ours happens to be the "Dickens Christmas Series" which is perfect for us.

Well, I didn't get around to putting it up in the first round of decorating...and was seriously thinking of just skipping it all together this year. But....Paige went to bed kind of early last night (for a Saturday)...and I had some energy left...so, I set it up!

It looked great. I was happy. Mike was happy.

Paige, on the other hand, about blew a gasket this morning she was so excited. Its a wonder the ceramic didn't shatter while she was shrieking "THERE HOUSES MOMMY!" and "YOOK! SNOW THERE MOMMY!" and who could forget "LIGHTS MOMMY!"

I don't think skipping it will be an option for a long long time. :)
