Do you want the good news or the bad news?
The Good News: I only had to go to work ONE day this week!
The Bad News: We went to the ER at Children's Hospital with Paige instead.
The Good News: They took much better care of her this time....only one nurse pissed me off and we are much better advocates for ourselves now (she reported that Paige's respirations were normal when we arrived and as we were leaving. Bull Sh*t! I put Paige back in the bed and made...ahem..."politley asked" her to check again. Low and behold! They were HIGH! Shocking isn't it. :) Overall the doctor and nurses were much more knowledgable, helpful, actually treated her, and didn't kick us out until EVERYONE was comfortable.
The Bad News: The dude in the room next to us moaned, gagged and vomited the ENTIRE time we were there. Seriously. Pretty gross.
The Good News: Paige was in pretty good spirits overall. She screamed "Yook Mommy! There a CASTLE!!!" when we pulled up to the hospital.
The Bad News: The only diagnosis we have is Reactive Airway Disease (I always knew she was pretty Rad...) This is just code for "You can't be diagnosed with asthma until you are 6 years-old."
The Good News: The camera that we had misplaced turned out to be in the diaper bag that we hastily packed for our hospital visit! Here are a few pics and a video to....well...enjoy isn't quite the right word is it....
