Countdown to Christmas
This year we decided to let Paige open one box of our little advent calendar each night between now and Christmas eve. Even though this is technically her third Christmas, its the first one where she has been old enough to understand Santa, Baby Jesus, Rudolph, presents, Jingle Bells, etc. etc. Its one of many Christmas traditions we've been looking forward to having with her! Here is a little video of how things went December 1st.

Hey, I've been meaning to call and say happy birthday to Paige, but I just haven't yet....anyway, I've been thinking about what it was like two years ago this week (yesterday, technically). I remember getting the phone call saying, "Guess what we're doing?" and then the snowstorm that followed that kept us from visiting. Remember bringing out little darlings to Panera to meet for the first time? How we kept both of them covered b/c Avery had a face only her mother could love (and did love, of course, but yeesh--goopy eye, baby acne, and cradle cap--a trifecta). Happy birthday girls!
